Terms of Service
These terms cover the Krynix website and early-access programme. Krynix is experimental and currently provided free of charge.

1. About these terms
Krynix is currently an independent project. “Krynix”, “we” and “us” refer to the people operating the project.
By using this site or taking part in early access, you agree to these terms. Questions can be sent to contact@kyrnix.io.
2. Early access is a pilot, and we say so plainly
Applying does not entitle you to a place. We select design partners by hand and we may decline without giving a reason.
If you are accepted, the software you receive is pre-release. It may change without notice, it may be interrupted, and features may be withdrawn. We may end the programme, or your participation in it, at any time. Do not make it a dependency of a production system whose failure you cannot absorb.
3. What you may not do with it
You agree not to:
- use Krynix to break the law, or to monitor people who have not been told they are being monitored where the law requires that they are;
- attempt to gain access to another customer’s evidence, or to any part of the service you have not been granted;
- resell, sublicense or provide the service to a third party as your own, unless we have agreed that in writing;
- reverse engineer the service except to the extent that restriction is unenforceable where you live;
- publish benchmark or performance results about the service without giving us the chance to review them for factual accuracy first.
Security testing of your own account is welcome — see the reporting address in the Privacy Policy. Testing against other customers’ data is not.
4. Your evidence stays yours
You keep all rights in the data you send us. We process it to provide the service and for nothing else. We do not train models on your data.
You are responsible for having the right to send us what you send, including any personal data captured in your agents’ activity, and for telling the people concerned as your own law requires.
On termination you may export your evidence. We will delete what remains within 90 days, except where we are legally required to keep it.
5. Feedback
If you send us suggestions, we may use them freely and without obligation. This does not give us any rights in your evidence, your systems, or anything else you own.
6. Our intellectual property
The service, the site and everything in them other than your data remain ours. Nothing here transfers ownership. Any open-source components we distribute are governed by their own licences, which prevail over these terms for those components.
7. What we do not promise
During early access the service is provided “as is”, with no warranty of any kind — no warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
One specific disclaimer matters more than the rest, and we would rather state it than bury it. Krynix produces evidence about what your agents did, not a guarantee that they behaved. Our output is not legal advice, not a regulatory certification, and not a substitute for your own controls, your own judgement, or your own compliance function. Whether any record we produce satisfies a particular regulator, auditor or court is a question for them and for your advisers, not a promise we make.
8. Waiver of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you use Krynix entirely at your own risk. Krynix, its operators, and its contributors accept no liability for any loss, damage, cost, claim, business interruption, lost profit, lost revenue, lost data, or other direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential harm arising from the website, the early-access programme, or your reliance on any Krynix output.
Where the law does not allow liability to be excluded completely, our liability is limited to the minimum amount that the law requires. Nothing in these terms excludes a liability that cannot legally be excluded.
9. Ending it
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms, or if we discontinue the programme. Clauses 4 to 8 survive.
10. Questions and disputes
These terms do not choose an exclusive governing law or court. Any laws that must apply based on where you and the Krynix operators are located will continue to apply.
If you have a concern or dispute, contact contact@kyrnix.io first so we can try to resolve it informally.
